Argent Trust Oklahoma announced today that it has promoted Kenny Brown Jr. to Tulsa president. In this role, Brown will assume the pivotal responsibility of guiding and overseeing the Tulsa team, while maintaining his crucial role as chief operating officer. He will report to Harvie Roe, Argent Trust Oklahoma-Tulsa CEO.

In 2017, Kenny Brown embarked on his journey with the former AmeriTrust, where he assumed the roles of assistant vice president and portfolio manager. Recognizing his exceptional talent, he was subsequently appointed vice president of business development in 2019, and in 2021, he was appointed senior vice president and chief operating officer. Prior to his tenure at AmeriTrust, Brown dedicated four years to the former Heritage Trust in Oklahoma City, where he served as a portfolio manager, vice president, and relationship manager. His extensive financial expertise was honed during a five-year tenure as a Financial and Investment Analyst at GuideStone Financial Resources in Dallas, Texas.

Brown earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration and master’s in finance from Dallas Baptist University. He is a registered investment advisor representative and is a level II candidate in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program.
