Reid joined Argent Trust and its predecessors in 2005, and in 2020 was named Chief Executive Officer of Argent Trust Company. He previously served as Regional Executive for the Texas and Louisiana markets, Chief Fiduciary Officer for Argent Trust Company, and chair of the Trust Management Committee.

Prior to joining Argent, Reid served as Market Executive for the wealth management division of BBVA Compass in Austin and as Private Banking Market Executive for the State of Arizona for Bank of America. He has over 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry with individual and management responsibilities covering Capital Markets, Commercial and Private Banking, Special Assets, and Fiduciary Services.

Reid graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Tulane University in 1984. He obtained his master’s degree in business administration from Texas A&M University.
